❓ Boarding FAQs – Longville, LA

Q: What makes Longville boarding unique?

Our countryside setting means dogs enjoy outdoor space, fresh air, and a quieter environment than most kennels.

Q: What should I bring for my dog?

  • Food (pre-portioned if possible)

  • Treats

  • Bedding or favorite blanket (optional)

  • Toys (optional, non-destructive)

  • Medications in original containers with instructions

👉 Please label all belongings with your pet’s name.

Q: Do you require deposits or have a cancellation policy?

  • Yes, a 50% deposit is required for all boarding reservations.

  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations are made within 48 hours of check-in.

  • No-shows will result in forfeiture of payment.

Q: What are check-in and check-out times?

  • Standard check-in and check-out times are anytime between 8am and 6pm. However, we’re pretty swamped in the mornings and evenings so it’s a big help if you can drop off and pickup between 10am and 4pm.

  • After-hours pick-up is available for an additional fee but advanced notice required.

Q: What if I pick up my pet early?

Due to high demand, you are charged for the full duration of your reservation, even if you pick up early.

Q: Do dogs get outdoor playtime?

Yes! Dogs enjoy spacious outdoor play yards and plenty of human interaction. Group play is based on size and temperament, or private play is available for pups who prefer it.

Q: What if my pet gets sick or injured while boarding?

We may provide first aid or seek veterinary care at our discretion.

  • We will first contact you.

  • If unavailable, we will call your emergency contact.

  • For immediate needs, we may transport your pet to a veterinarian.

All veterinary costs are the owner’s responsibility.

Q: What vaccinations are required for boarding?

All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella. Cats must have Rabies and FVRCP. We recommend vaccines be given at least one week before check-in.

Q: Can I add grooming or training to boarding?

Absolutely! Many families add:

  • Baths, trims, or full grooms → so pups go home fresh.

  • Training sessions → reinforcing manners while boarding.

Ask about add-ons when booking.
